The soul and heart of pickleball is "Open Play", i.e. you gather in mixed groups of 20-30 people and take turns playing. Short social matches, you play on a small surface, everyone meets everyone and everyone talks to everyone. It cannot be stopped!

The family sport

Three families invented the sport in the 60s outside of Seattle, USA. Today, whole families often play together, which is a "wow experience" for many who are new to the sport. It is not unusual for three generations to share a track.

Mixed doubles is the most popular class in Pickleball. EVERYONE plays together and against each other regardless of background, gender or age.

Easy to learn, hard to master

After 5 minutes EVERYONE can hit the ball 10 times over the net and can thus start playing an easier match.
